| Globaler Amalgam-Ausstieg 2034 beschlossen |

Liebe Leserinnen und Leser,

auf der COP6 der Minamata-Konvention wurde der Amalgam-Ausstieg 2034 beschlossen und wir freuen uns, dass wir diesen historischen Meilenstein Schritt für Schritt erreichen konnten.

Andere Verwendungen von Quecksilber in Produkten wurden nacheinander verboten, sodass es kaum noch vorstellbar war, Amalgam weiterhin in der Zahnmedizin zu erlauben – zumal effektive und erschwingliche Alternativen verfügbar sind.

Unsere Mission verlagert sich nun von Politik und Interessenvertretung hin zur Umsetzung. So unterstützen wir Länder darin, rechtzeitig ihre Ausstiegs-Pläne zu gestalten.
